Powered by a Quad-core i5 or i7 processor, the F-18 can quickly ramp up to 3.8GHz to handle increased demands. The higher speed provides for quicker response times when the market is moving fast.
Our Solid State Hard Drives (SSD) are SATA3 and have a sustained sequential read rate of 415-500MB/s, depending on the model. This is nearly twice as fast as the 250-280MB/s SATA2 SSDs used by others. Our 1TB hard drives are a full 7200rpm (some others are variable speed) and are designed for heavy duty use in servers.
Each F-18 is individually tested and tuned by a craftsman for maximum performance and stability. Despite its fast speed it is completely stable and has a normal life expectancy.
The Quad-Core i7 processor does use hyper-threading to give the F-18 the ability to process 8 simultaneous instructions (threads). This makes the F-18 ideal for running multiple applications and applications that can run in multiple threads.
